Emily Ratajkowski Oscars Makeup

Emily Ratajkowski

The Look: Simply Gorgeous

Who: Model, Emily Ratajkowski, needed a makeup look that worked for not one, but two stunning outfits on Sunday night so she turned to celebrity make-up artist and Rimmel London Makeup-Artist Ambassador, Jo Baker.

How to Get the Look:

· For Emily’s eyes Jo really put the emphasis on her lashes. She used three coats of Rimmel London 24HR Supercurler Mascara which not only lengthened from root to tip but the jet black formula set the lashes at a beautiful and upright curl.

· Jo kept Emily’s lip natural and unlined. She used Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in Summer Angel, the perfect easy nude that kept her pout hydrated and looking perfect all night long!

· Emily has beautiful bushy eyebrows so Jo wanted to keep them natural and undone yet have them stay in place. She combed them through using Rimmel London Brow This Way Styling Gel in Dark Brown.

Where to Find Them: Rimmel London products are available at chain drug stores and mass retailers nationwide. Visit http://www.RimmelLondon.com for store locations and to try the newest products with Rimmel London’s exclusive Virtual Makeup Tool.

Grammy Awards Beauty: Tori Kelly #GRAMMYs

Tori Kelly 2016 Grammy Awards

TORI KELLY’S LOOK: A modern interpretation of old Hollywood style

INSPIRATION: Celebrity hairstylist Nikki Providence was inspired by Tori Kelly’s one shoulder green dress.  “I wanted to let her natural texture shine through a classic pincurl set,” she said.

How To Get The Look:

Nikki started with clean wet hair, and prepped the roots with John Frieda Frizz Ease® Curl Reviver Mousse and sprayed 12 sprays of the John Frieda Frizz Ease® Go Curlier™ Heat-Activated Spray throughout the hair. Then she used a wide-tooth comb to shape the front and sides into sculpted waves, clipping each section into position. She twisted the remainder of the hair in 2-inch sections and dried her with a diffuser before taking the clips out. Nikki used her hands to smooth and sculpt the final shape, applying a thin coat of John Frieda Frizz Ease® Secret Weapon® Touch-Up Crème on her hands to make sure her fingers glided over the hair for a final touch of smoothness. Then she used a 3/4 inch curling iron to touch up any areas that needed extra hold or curl. She finished off the look with John Frieda Frizz Ease® KeraFLEX™ Flexible Hold Hairspray.

Nina Dobrev’s Makeup – 5 Steps to Copy Her Look

Nina Dobrev

LOS ANGELES, CA – OCTOBER 19: Nina Dobrev arrives at the 22nd Annual ELLE Women In Hollywood Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on October 19, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage)

Celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder worked with Nina Dobrev for the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards.

“Nina was wearing a nude Calvin Klein dress, so I wanted to add a pop of color with her makeup. I decided to go with a burgundy lip paired with a really well blended taupe eye.”

“I started by applying Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation in shade 255 all over the face, using a foundation brush to applying in the center of the face, then blending outward using a Beauty Blender. To brighten her under eye area, I applied MAC Select Moisturecover in NW20 in the socket of her under eye area.

I filled in the brows using Anastasia Brow Wiz in Chocolate to give her more defined, fuller arches.

Using the Golden Goddess Palette by Charlotte Tilbury, I applied the Smoke Shade with a MAC 217 brush, washing the color backwards and forward along the socket. I also applied a little on the outer corners to create a reverse V. I applied the Enhance shade along the brow bone to give her a highlight, then, using the Dolce Vita palette, I applied the Pop shade on the lid under her socket with using a MAC 239 Brush. Taking a thin brush, I applied the Smoke shade of the Golden Goddess Palette lightly along her upper lash line, like eyeliner. I curled her lashes using Kevyn Aucoin Lash Curler, then applied three coats of the Dior Addict It-Lash. I also used a few Ardell Individual Lashes on the outer corners of her eyes.

To warm up her complexion, I applied MAC Golden Refined Bronzer using a fluffy bronzing brush along her cheekbones in a circular motion, then lightly brushed along her jaw line, temples and forehead.  On the apples of her cheeks, I applied Kevyn Aucoin Blush in Ariana, and for a little bit of highlight, I used the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, mixing Incandescent and Radiant light and applying on the upper cheekbone and dusting underneath the eyes.

On her lips, I started by applying Tom Ford Bruised Plum Lipstick straight from the bullet, and to clean up the edges and define the lip shape, I used the Chanel Precision Lip Definer in Vamp.”

Jessica Chastain’s Versatile Asymmetrical Bob – Get Her Look

Jessica Chastain

Celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora worked with Jessica Chastain to create a new look during the Toronto International Film Festival.

“This was pretty spontaneous. We had no plans to do a cut in Toronto, and then I saw her the night before her premiere of The Martian, and we decided to try something new. I was really inspired by Faye Dunaway’s classic bob. It has that playful, undone look and falls really nicely however it’s styled.”

“We only cut a couple of inches off, which still gave her a completely new look. You’ll notice that the front and back have some uneven pieces. We didn’t want it to be so perfect that she would be limited to wearing it any particular way. So, I did the cut from start to finish with a razor, no scissors. Using a razor gives the cut some volume and texture, and adds more dimension to the layers. It’s very short at the nape of the neck, which also adds some volume to the back.

This look is a little more playful and undone than polished, which is what we did for the Ralph Lauren show. I think it looks beautiful both ways! And I really wanted to give her a style and length that frames her gorgeous face, but also make sure she could easily maintain and play around with it when she’s off duty.”

The Most Unpredictable Interview with YouTube Star Jenna Marbles & Larry King

jenna marbles kermit

My favorite YouTube star Jenna Marbles (along with her dog Kermit) sat down with Larry King on the Emmy nominated series Larry King Now for a hilarious interview!

Jenna also opened up about her career, running an independent YouTube channel and turning down endorsements.

“I think that with the internet the most important thing that you have is that you’re a genuine person and that people trust you and they trust that when they turn on YouTube it’s really you.”

“I like my creative freedom. I like doing everything start to finish myself and to me it just didn’t make any sense. I didn’t need any production support. I wanted to do silly things in my bedroom, so I’m doing that.”

“I think that you know working with brands and things can be great and a lot of people do it really well, but for me it feels very much like stuffing my own pockets with money and taking advantage of the people that are there to see me.”
