Baby Foot Peel Review

Baby Foot is an innovative foot care product that will make your feet as smooth and soft as a baby’s foot. The unique formula of 17 types of natural extracts allow your feet to exfoliate naturally leaving them highly moisturized.

This effective and gentle process removes the unwanted dead skin cells that have built up layer after layer. So say goodbye to rough, dry, cracked soles, by using a product that really works!

I first heard about this product through their initiative to donate October proceeds to help fight against breast cancer. Intrigued, I did some digging online and found a ton of positive reviews. I decided to test out Baby Foot for myself in an attempt to restore the less than stellar appearance of my feet.

I soaked my feet as instructed before putting on the plastic booties filled with the magic Baby Foot gel. The booties come with sticky tabs so you can secure them around your feet. I opted to put on a pair of socks over the booties to make sure I didn’t slip on my way from the bathroom to the living room.

Once securely on, it’s time to relax for an hour while the gel is absorbed into your feet. Whatever your method of relaxation, make sure you prepare everything ahead of time before sitting down. Plastic booties filled with gel are obviously slippery and you don’t want to be sliding around your house, looking for your book, Netflix remote or a glass of wine.

After an hour passed, I carefully made my way to the bathroom to remove the booties and wash my feet. I was secretly hoping that the peeling would start right away but that wasn’t the case.

Seven whole days passed before the peel-apocalypse began. There was SO MUCH dead skin. It just kept coming off for days. I must say, it was a very gross yet satisfying process.

Finally, it’s day 14 and my feet look awesome! There’s still a bit of dry skin around the heel but overall my feet look and feel amazingly soft. I’m very happy that I had a chance to test out this product.

Before giving Baby Foot a try, I recommend that you review the list of ingredients to make sure you are not allergic to anything in the gel.

LASH BUILD TECHNOLOGY: Plumping Complex and innovative crème-gel formula delivers 5X the volume and a clump-free, smudge-free, flake-free build.

Sweep on from root to tip for 24-hour explosive volume. Water-resistant.

My review:

Kudos to Avon on another successful product launch! The Big and Daring tube and wand is mascara on steroids! I love the fluffy, curved brush and the vivid pigment of the blackest black shade.

I can’t rave enough about the application brush. The bristles coated and curved my lashes without leaving any clumps. I have tried almost every mascara known to man (Diorshow, Lancome, Maybelline) and this one rates at the top of the list, comparable to the pricier brands that retail for $25 and up. You really can’t go wrong by picking up this $9 product.

My eyes instantly popped after I applied Avon’s Big and Daring mascara and I bet yours will as well.

Now let’s watch Avon’s Global Beauty Ambassador Irina Shayk perfect the #DARETOBEBOLD look in this commercial.

EYES BY ToGoSpa (@eyedews) Review and Giveaway

*Samples were received in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was received for this post.*

Yesterday, my husband and I went out to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with friends. While I love having a good time on such a jolly holiday, the look of puffy, tired eyes this morning made me earn for a morning after cure. Luckily, I had EYES by ToGoSpa handy for such an occasion.

EYES by ToGoSpa are under eye gel pads that easily adhere to your skin. According to the packaging, they are infused with Aloe, Vitamins C & E and Amino Acids to soothe puffy under eyes and minimize the appearance of fine lines. They come in three varieties: Ice Water (soothing), Pomegranate (firming) and Green Tea (lifting).

This morning, I tried the Ice Water gel pads. I stored them in the fridge before use and applied under my eyes as directed. Each package (pictured above) comes with three under eye treatments. It’s easy to peel the corner of the packaging to remove the pads for each use. I left mine on for about 20 minutes. During and after use, my skin felt really refreshed. I guess after a night on the town, my skin could use all the moisture it could get. The pads felt soft to the touch and gentle once I put them on. I didn’t even feel like I had anything on my face. Usually with traditional under eye treatments (such as tea, cucumbers, etc), you’d have to lay down to apply the remedy but not with EYES! I went about my business around the house and the pads stayed on the whole time.

I have to say, they really do feel refreshing! The combination of the cold, moisture and infused vitamins work wonders to bring down puffiness. I’m very happy with the Ice Water gel pads and can’t wait to try out Green Tea and Pomegranate varieties!

Le Couvent des Minimes Eau Aimable Beneficial Care Oil Review

Le Couvent des Minimes Eau Aimable Beneficial Care Oil

*Guest review by Lori S. A sample was received in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was received for this post.*

About Le Couvent des Minimes Eau Aimable Beneficial Care Oil ($32):

Le Couvent des Minimes uses softening Orange Blossom water along with nutrient-rich botanical oils (Sweet Almond, Borage, Sesame, Camelina, and Safflower Oil) for a multipurpose Beneficial Care Oil. When applied to the skin or used in a bath, the lushly scented oil absorbs into and hydrates the skin, while smoothing even the smallest amount on the ends of your hair will leave it silky with a high shine. The scent evokes the rebirth of spring, even during the cold of January with the sweet Orange Blossom providing a fresh, mouth-watering fragrance. (3.4 fl. oz, $32)

My Review:

I had the opportunity to try out Le Couvent des Minimes Eau Aimable Beneficial Care Oil. It’s a great multipurpose product that has a fresh and delicate scent.

I used the oil daily on my skin, hair, and in the bath, as instructed on the packaging. I like that it left my skin and hair feeling soft. I found that using more than a dime size made my hair greasy. So I used the recommended amount, mostly on the ends, to keep it silky but not weighed down.

The biggest benefit for me was using the oil to combat dry, winter skin. It has a great, hydrating formula that felt gentle and nourishing.

Mama Mio Eye Know Moisturizing Eye Serum Review

Mama Mio Eye Know Moisturizing Eye Serum

Mama Mio Eye Know Moisturizing Eye Serum

Guest review by Lori S. A sample was received in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was received for this post.

About Mama Mio Eye Know Moisturizing Eye Serum ($39):

This jam-packed serum tackles dehydration, dark circles, puffiness, crow’s feet, wrinkles, and saggy baggy-ness, leaving you looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

My Review:

I am a busy mom of a 6-year-old son and I have a full-time job in sales. Needless to say, I don’t always get enough sleep which leads to visible under eye bags.

I jumped at the chance to review Mama Mio’s Eye Know Moisturizing Eye Serum to help rejuvenate my tired eyes. The serum promised to nourish, lift and brighten the entire eye area for a fresh look.

I’ve been using the eye serum for 1 1/2 months and I’m happy to report that it works really well. It has a nice formula that doesn’t feel sticky and absorbs quickly into my skin.

The best part is that I noticed less puffiness under my eyes since I began using this product!

I really enjoyed reading the tips that Mama Mio includes in the accompanying booklet. It outlined the best eye exercises you should do to keep your eyes firm.

Overall, I’m happy that the Eye Know Moisturizing Serum delivered on the manufacturer’s promises. I look forward to trying more products from Mama Mio’s skincare line.
