About Dew Puff Sponges:

Dew Puff face and body cleansing natural sponges are 100% plant-based cleansing products. Dew Puff has only one ingredient, konjac root, also known as elephant yam or kon-nyaku in Japanese.

When hydrated, these natural sponges become exceptionally soft, yet gently exfoliating, while creating a perfect pH balance on the surface of the skin. Regular use brightens and evens your skin tone without irritation.

Dew Puff sponges are available in three varieties: Original, Asian Clay and Bamboo Charcoal.

Original Konjac Sponge

This is truly a no frills version that’s safe for all skin types. I use it with a cleanser, although it’s a versatile sponge, intended to use alone or with face wash.

Once I wet the sponge, it felt very soft on my skin.  It exfoliates very mildly. I tried the sponge without cleanser but it didn’t produce the deep clean that I prefer. That’s why pairing it with my favorite facial scrub is the way to go for me.

Asian Clay Konjac Sponge

This sponge is recommended for dry and flaky skin. It’s infused with Asian clay to remove impurities.

I don’t have dry skin so I didn’t give this one a whirl. However, my skin does tend to get dry in the winter and I plan to come back to this product once the temperature begins to drop.

Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Sponge

The Bamboo Charcoal Sponge is recommended for oily or blemished skin. There’s no separate cleanser needed. It draws impurities out and provides all the positives qualities of charcoal cleansing.

Since charcoal is all the rage in skin care right now, I was excited to try this one out. I’m very happy that it drew out blackheads as intended.

The cost of each sponge is $8 and that’s a great deal. You’ll get at around 3 months use of it.
